Mary Widicus embraces gathering ideas and inspirations from her own photography and from her creative friends and combining them into unique bits of beauty. Her fascination with the visual arts began with travel and landscape photography. When offered the opportunity to learn from amazing watercolor artists, she was inspired to interpretation those photos into art.

An introduction to Zentangle’s repetitive patterns engaged her penchant for doodling. which led to exploring ways to add color to black and white Zentangle-inspired drawings. Watching the way these different disciplines enhance each other is a constant source of joy.

Having lived in various parts of the country (including Southern CA), Mary now calls Wisconsin home. She enjoys brightening the lives of others by converting her art into greeting cards for loved ones.
