Suchita Rathi Jhawar paints to tell a story. Her paintings use the vibrant colors of her
motherland India to convey her emotions. The Southern California landscape where
she has resided most of her life also inspires her palette.
Her love of exploration through art began early in her childhood in India, and has been nurtured further in San Diego,where she raised her family. You can find her exhibiting at various art shows and galleries, volunteering in art museums, curating art
workshops and fundraising for charitable causes through her art events. Suchita
recently completed an International Artist Residency at the Chateaux Orquevaux in
France. Her artwork can be found in homes across the globe.
Suchita teaches art and painting workshops to adults as well as children. She works out of her studio in Encinitas, using a variety of mediums.
