Dea will share her professional tips and a special "magic tool" to make the process creative and fun.

Dea Early lives in the Coachella Valley of California near Palm Springs, as a semi retired teacher and full time ceramic artist and sculptor. 

Dea has over 45 years of teaching experience at multiple colleges and private schools in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and Southern California. She occasionally works as a traveling artist giving seminars in private studios around the USA  Portugal, and France as well as in the resident studio in Sun City Palm Desert, CA. She has demonstrated the wheel in Europe and in South East Asia. Her favorite is Raku or working in sculpture.

Dea’s students have been recognized award winners at the National level. She loves teaching as much as she loves creating her own work.  She has recently started teaching in fused glass and expanding her skills into a new medium by combining the glass with the concrete sculptures  and the clay sculpture.
