For 2024 Acrylic Pour - Instructor Marcy Evers

ACRYLIC POUR PAINTING: Acrylic pour painting is an exciting and almost magical way to create beautiful abstract art. In the acrylic pour painting class students will learn about some of the many types of pours and different effects that can be done.

Participants will be given a canvas or tile that they will prepare with a coat of white pour color. They will then each get to pick 3-5 colors to prepare to do a “dirty pour”. Once prepared students will take turns watching as the colors take on a life of their own and create beautiful designs.

All materials will be provided.

For San Diego artist Marcy Evers, creativity, exploration, and fun are all themes that have been an important part of her life and are expressed through her art work. Her keen sense for color and composition is apparent in her collection of acrylic pour art.
